Since 1989, the Contemporary Arts Center has presented new, high-quality, visual and performing art in Las Vegas. Before there was an Arts District, there was the Contemporary Arts Collective of local artists and art lovers alike. As one of Nevada's oldest non-profit art organizations, we continue to build that community and attract national and international level contemporary art to our gallery. Free and open to the public, our art gallery is located in the Arts Factory, the geographic and creative center of the 18b Arts District in Las Vegas. We also present works in satellite galleries and across the valley through special events.

Most of our organization's history is documented on paper and tucked away in the storage unit. So we have started asking volunteers to pick a show binder from the past and upload it to our website, bringing new life to the decades worth of incredible variety and quality content our members and guests have created in Las Vegas. Our goal is to have those 22 years of exhibitions and events documented here online by the end of 2013. Email us if you are interested in being a part of this historic (and monumental) project!
