Locals Night at BGFA

Two of mankind's greatest achievements: Art and wine. Enjoy Bellagio Gallery of Fine Art's exhibition and something from Bellagio’s renowned wine menu. Hosted by Master Sommelier Jason Smith and BGFA Director Tarissa Tiberti.

Life Drawing at the CAC

(Almost) every Tuesday from 7pm to 10pm, Stewart Freshwater hosts an open workshop for artists to work with other artists and a live nude model. The format is very informal – there is no instruction and you can join any time. Bring your own materials, board or easel, and we have ten benches to share. Participants are also asked to share the cost of the model each session, which normally works out to $5-8 per person. Starting with a few two-minute poses, they increase to five, then ten, and a final thirty-minute pose. However, on the first session of each month, they have half an hour of warm-up poses followed by one long pose for two hours. Email Stewart at smfreshwater (at) earthlink.net to RSVP.

First Friday

First Friday - The monthly street festival that celebrates the downtown 18b Arts District in Las Vegas. Thousands of people gather for art galleries, craft vendors, live music, food trucks, firespinners … it's jam-packed fun!

Preview Thursday – For those who want a less-crowded view with more conversation about the ART, every month the Arts District offers a special preview the night before First Friday. Join fellow artists and art lovers from 6pm to 9pm.
